The Sacramento Police Foundation supports youth programs designed to inspire leadership, build trust with law enforcement, and provide positive opportunities for young people across the city. Since absorbing the Sacramento Police Activities League (SacPAL) in 2017, the Foundation has expanded its efforts to ensure that every program is guided by mentorship from Sacramento Police Department officers and community partners. Together, these initiatives create meaningful experiences that foster confidence, responsibility, and pathways to future careers.
Our current programs include the Criminal Justice Magnet Academy and the Pedals Program, providing free bicycles and bike safety resources to children, removing transportation barriers and promoting safe, healthy habits.
