I am proud of the legacy of Sac PD’s tradition of service that continues today as we strive to represent excellence in policing. We do this by anticipating trends, being proactive in all areas, and addressing potential crises before they arise.
Our dedication to crime prevention is further strengthened through open and effective communication with the community we are honored to serve.
One of the most important vehicles that Sac PD has to communicate and engage with the community is Sacramento Police Foundation (SPF). For 25 years, SPF has funded critical programs that have enhanced the safety of our officers and the public we serve, have increased high school graduation rates and reduced juvenile crime, and have fostered stronger relationships between Sac PD and the communities we protect.
SPF is only able to advance our efforts because of donations from community members, business leaders, companies large and small, and foundations. We are grateful to have a community partner like SPF to help us serve our community even more effectively.
